Use the Dive Proposal page to suggest a dive. Looking at the list of past dives, you will notice certain days, times, and places are more popular than others.  This section will just be a quick way to verify date, location, etc. Once a dive is proposed and posted, all further updates are the responsibility of the activity coordinator.  Updates should also be sent to dive(-at-)spaceship.com using the format specified on the Dive Proposal page All the details regarding the dive will be sent to the group via e-mail as well as posted on the website. Anyone one can propose a dive trip to ANYWHERE at ANYTIME.  

NOTE: Not all announcements are posted to the website, especially last minute ones.  All posts to the mailing list are forwarded manually and may take some time before being posted (for example, if the webmaster is out of town).  If you are already a member of the mailing list, you can submit a dive proposal if you are interested in organizing a dive and want to invite others, and you can check the archives for any dive postings that may not have been posted to the website.

Beginning divers.  All dives should  safely be done by newly certified divers unless specifically noted on the dive proposal.  But as always, only you can decide if a dive site or buddy is appropriate for you.  "Dive at your own risk" is true here as it is everywhere else.
