  • Lake Travis conditions - current conditions and forecasts for the lakes and rivers of the regions provided by the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA)

Dive Instruction

  • UT Underwater Science Program - UT students can get certified up through Divemaster
  • NAUI - National Association of Underwater Instructors.  A not-for-profit organization with the motto "safety through education"

Safety

  • DAN - Divers' Alert Network, the authority in dive safety and emergency response.
  • Underwater Institute at SWT - training for public safety divers, including an annual conference and competition.

Travel

  • Cozumel - Good starting point for anything to do with Cozumel, Mexico.
  • Bonaire - Deep Blue View Bed & Breakfast  - owners left the rat race in the U.S. to open thier own resort.  Avid breath-hold divers and kayakers, they can help you with your diving and other recreational needs during your stay.
  • Ginnie Springs, Florida - excellent snorkeling, scuba, and cave diving area - more developed than most
  • St. Kitts, West Indies - rental villa.   Brand new and situated on Half Moon Bay, next to the Royal St. Kitts Golf Course. Can accommodate 6 comfortably, or up to 8 including a futon. Close to airport, town, grocery stores (IGA) and a short walk to the beach. You can scuba or snorkel on the reefs right there
